Welcome everyone! This is the new ReeLine Studios website. For the first time, it was all hand coded by us, not by using a template (I know, milestones right?) So now we have full control over how it works, and we can understand it all rather than working off a basic design. Plus it's designed to my liking. If you have any bugs to report, please leave them at webmaster@reelinestudios.com and we'll try to fix them up. Meanwhile, I'm gonna try and link up this blog post system to a tumblr page, so all you tumblrians can follow us and we'll have a proper RSS system.
Now on that note, I have to say thank you to everyone. Elements won the Saxxy for Best Original Universe! For those of you who haven't been keeping up, the Saxxy Awards are VALVe's Oscars. We created a teaser trailer for Elements, that originally wasn't going to be placed into the Saxxies. It was a last minute desision for us to place it in, but because of that we won first place in the Original Universe category. Sure it doesn't mean we get a trip to visit VALVe or get shown on national television, but it does mean we now have a strong backing for this film, which is more than I could've ever asked for. Thank you everyone! You are all incredibly awesome!
This teaser is not going to be the end of Elements. We plan on continueing the project into a feature. An episodic series based entirely in the Source Filmmaker. We'll try to keep you guys updated on the development of this project. Because we don't have any producers outside of myself, I'm giving everyone full range to post what they want to about their job and why it's important. We'll just see how that goes. Expect more behind the scenes stuff to come around when we can post it!
